The College For Futures Program in Partnership with ManhattanLife is a voluntary education discount benefit that provides access to reduced tuition rates at accredited colleges and universities through the College 4 Futures program.

Is this an insurance product?

No. This benefit is not insurance, not a financial product, and not tied to any specific ManhattanLife policy. It is a value-added education benefit offered alongside ManhattanLife products.

Who is eligible for the benefit?

Eligibility applies to:

  • Any ManhattanLife policyholder
  • Eligible family members, which may include:
    • Spouses or partners
    • Children
    • Grandchildren
    • Siblings
    • In-laws
    • Dependents

Eligibility does not require enrollment in a specific insurance product

What types of programs are included?

The College Benefit provides access to certificate programs, associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees. Programs are designed for working adults and offer 100% online and flexible learning formats.

Are the colleges legitimate and accredited?

Yes. Participating colleges and universities are regionally accredited, not-for-profit, and military-friendly.

How does the tuition discount work?

Tuition discounts are pre-negotiated, applied immediately upon completion of an interest form, and clearly explained by the college prior to commitment. There is no obligation to enroll simply by requesting information.

Is there any cost to use the benefit?

Tuition costs only apply if and when an individual enrolls in a college program.

Can this benefit be used with tuition reimbursement or financial aid?

Yes. The College Benefit may be used alongside any federal or state financial aid you may qualify for such as student loans or grants; employer tuition reimbursement or assistance; any institutional aid you may qualify for; or outside funding sources. The tuition discount is applied prior to any other aid or funding, and it will not reduce the amount of aid you may be qualified for.

Is participation mandatory?

No. Participation is completely voluntary, and individuals may use the benefit at any time.

When can someone use the benefit?

Eligible individuals can request information at any time, explore options for themselves or family members, and enroll based on college start dates. There are no enrollment windows tied to insurance elections.
